Questions & answers
How do I log a set by voice?
Hold the mic and say, for example, “bench 80 for 8, three sets”. Let go, check what the app heard and save. Short phrases work too: “one more”, “plus 5”.
The voice got it wrong. What now?
Before saving you can fix the exercise, weight and reps. Tap a saved set on Today to correct it, and delete a wrong one in the journal. If talking is awkward, there is “or type it in” under the mic.
How do I log from the lock screen?
Add the Hart button to the lock screen in place of the flashlight, or to Control Center: touch and hold the lock screen, tap Customize and swap the button at the bottom. Press it and speak. If the app isn't sure about a phrase, the set waits for you to check it when you open Hart.
How are ranks calculated?
Every exercise has a rank from E to S based on your best set converted to a one-rep max, adjusted for bodyweight and sex. The thresholds come from public strength standards. Your overall rank sets your avatar's stage.
Why was a set “not counted”?
If the weight is far above your record, the set doesn't count towards your rank until you check it, so a recognition mistake can't spoil the rank. Tap the set to fix or confirm it.
What is “Seen it”?
Friends in your warband confirm your records with one tap on the records board, so everyone can see which records someone witnessed.
How do I gather a warband?
On the Group tab, create a group and send friends the invite code. A group holds up to 30 people and has three boards: weekly XP, strength relative to bodyweight, and records.
How does the rest timer work?
It starts after every saved set: 3 minutes for heavy compound lifts, 2 for other compounds, a minute and a half for isolation work. Change the times, sound and lock-screen alert in profile settings.
How do I change the app icon?
Every new rank unlocks an icon in its color. The rank-up ceremony offers to switch to it, and all unlocked icons are in profile settings.
Who can see my data?
Only you see your bodyweight, sex and birth year. Friends in your group see your name, avatar, XP and records. We don't keep audio: only the recognised text of a phrase reaches our server.
